I really like the Fleetwoods a lot. The songs are extremely innocent, the production value is pretty washed out and warm and the harmonies are amazing. I recently found this clip of them performing "Come Softly to Me" on American Bandstand. This is straight out of a David Lynch film. Watch how creepy it is when the girls start swaying in time with each other and check out the extremely removed expression on the guy's face. They definitely don't intend this to be creepy by any means, but this whole thing is like a fever dream. In all seriousness, this makes me like them a lot more. Check it out.
