On Thursday I'll be interviewed by Portland, OR 1190 KEX AM's Michael Desmond, a news radio host doing a special about music relating to mt.st.helens. He found our site on the internet and has booked time for us on Thursday to speak with him via a sattelite connection in a local clear channel studio. He wants to know why we decided on the band name, how the volcano factors into our music (if at all) and if we have any songs about mt.st.helens. I think he might be a bit disappointed to find out that we really don't have any songs about mt.st.helens but there was a song called "Sorry About 1980" - the year of the most disastrous erruption - and that song title also doubles as our publishing moniker. It's a little childish and stupid, but then, so is high school.
confidential to JP: I tipped him off that Jim & Jennie and the Pinetops have a song called "mt.st.helens" on their new record. I told him to contact you at Bloodshot for more info.
If any of you knew....hell if I even knew how many pieces of Eclipse gum I've chewed today...but then again its sugarless and it may even help my teeth....although as the package clearly states "Gum is not a low calorie food". There are 5 calories per serving at two pieces per serving. How is that not low calorie?

In other news, Ed Lo is freezing his moustache off at Wrigley Field right now.
